The Harms Family are
participating in our Carer Home Program which means that Nutmeg has been
left entire for use in our breeding program for her litters but instead of
staying with us here at Sunset Hills she will live with the Harms Family and
will be enjoying life with a family all to herself.

Pretty girl! |
Thought
we'd give a bit of a Nutmeg update.
Her
first puppy class went well and she now sits on command (with or without
treats). She has easily adapted to her new surroundings and enjoys
playing in the herb and vegetable patches. Have attached a few piccies
for you.

Hi Melinda,
12-March-2005
All is well, house
training is still going fantastically (fingers crossed this continues).
The hot weather seems to have slowed her down a little - she is usually
either fast asleep or going a million miles an hour. The crate training
continues to progress well - we've had to leave her alone a couple of
times without incident. She is quite at ease when we leave or arrive - no
great fuss.
The
grooming is a bit of a challenge! She hasn't quite made friends with her
brush and comb as yet. Persistence should pay off.
Puppy
classes were postponed and will commence this Tues coming up - I'm sure
she'll go well.
Will
send through some more photos during the week.

I
big Hi and thank you from us.
Nutmeg
is fantastic. She has been such a good natured, clever little girl.
We
have had only one accident and that was on the very first night. She
now goes to the side door to be let out when she needs to.
The
crates were a huge bonus - thank you very much for the
recommendation. She only wakes once during the night, she seeks out
the crate when tired and needing a rest (and a break from us!!) and
today I put her in her crate with the door open before picking up the
kids & Leanne and left her with a reasonably large room - I was
unfortunately delayed and she was left alone for one and half hours
and she didn't even get out of the crate.
She
has such a beautiful temperament and everyone who sees her says she's
gorgeous (well, she is).
Tomorrow
night is the first night of puppy school and we'll let you know how
she goes (if you don't mind being pestered by all the e-mails).
Have
attached some photos - had difficulty with light and opportunity.
